With a completely recyclable mono-PP tubular bag\u00a0<\/i>the Schur Flexibles Group is expanding its range of sustainable packaging concepts for the dairy industry. The MonoFlow P-Type is the new, recyclable tubular bag as an alternative to previous composite material solutions with PET or PA.<\/p>\n

According to the company, this is in response to the wishes of trade and environmental organisations for recyclable packaging<\/strong>. With the new tubular bag solution for cheese packaged under modified atmosphere Shearing<\/a>, literally, to bring \u201emore sustainability to the fresh food shelf\u201c.<\/p>\n

Tubular bag or stand-up pouch<\/h2>\n

The MonoFlow P-Type is a highly transparent, fully recyclable PP-based high-barrier film<\/strong>. It can be offered both as a tubular bag film and as a prefabricated stand-up pouch. The recyclability has been certified as \u201eexcellent\u201c by an external institute in accordance with the German minimum standard 95%. In addition, the tubular bag variant is intended to impress with numerous other advantages.<\/p>\n

Thanks to its high oxygen and water vapour barrier, the MonoFlow P-Type is suitable for fresh, demanding foodstuffs and protects e.g. small Blocks of cheese or grated cheese<\/strong> from production to the consumer against premature spoilage. According to the information provided, it can also be processed on existing systems. The specially developed sealing layer seals quickly at low temperatures and has a large sealing window with a temperature range of 30\u00b0C, which should also offer a high level of safety during start-stop operation.<\/p>\n
