This is because the cups have no plastic coating and are made of paper. This means that the packaging expert from Jettingen in Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg can offer its corporate customers the first certified and tested plastic-free paper cups.<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 1\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\"><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Every year, around 2.8 billion disposable cups for drinks to go are consumed in Germany, 40 per cent of which are made of pure plastic (UBA 2019). However, even the supposedly more sustainable disposable cardboard containers are problematic, as they usually have a plastic coating on the inside. As the labelled cups do not contain any plastic, they can be disposed of in waste paper and are therefore returned to a closed cycle instead of being incinerated.<\/p>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 1\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<blockquote><p>\u201eIn our mobile society, which is still dominated by the pandemic, it has become even more difficult to do without to-go products. This makes the innovative achievement that the paper cups from BVO International GmbH do not require a plastic coating all the more pleasing.
