For example, a scan can reveal where the wine comes from.<\/p>\n<p>The interactive labels from Eltronis have recently been used in Romania. The local office for viticulture wants to promote the origin of its regional wines and protect consumers from potential counterfeits.<\/p>\n<p>The new labels combine an instantly recognisable holographic brand design with a high level of security. The result is a wealth of information about the pedigree and production of the wine, as well as confirmation that it is genuine. If the scanned label contains an invalid or duplicate code, the office is automatically notified.<\/p>\n<p>Eltronis sees its labels as a solution to a problem that has increased in recent years. The holographic design incorporates several security features that make it impossible to reproduce, while the label material allows it to be applied to a variety of different substrates.<\/p>\n<p>Due to its high thermal, mechanical and chemical resistance, the label cannot be removed without damaging it, so it cannot be reused on other products.
