The new development is the result of a market study and meets the increased requirements for production safety and product quality in the baby milk powder industry.<\/p>\n<p>Sensitive products such as baby milk powder require absolutely safe manufacturing processes. The heightened awareness of product safety prompted Optima Consumer to conduct a product market study. The market requirements were incorporated into a new machine concept: the OPTIMA EGS, <strong>a machine for the fully automatic evacuation, gassing and capping of baby milk powder products<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201eWith the OPTIMA FS filling machine and the OPTIMA EGS, we are able to offer the centrepiece of baby milk powder production lines from a single source.\u201c <strong>Christoph Held<\/strong>, Managing Director of OPTIMA consumer GmbH<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The machine is characterised by its compact design. All functions - evacuation, gassing and sealing - therefore fit into a small space. This effectively minimises the operating costs for the cleanroom. The machine makes it possible to clearly and traceably assign important production data to each container throughout the manufacturing processes. This also includes the documentation of all process parameters, such as the vacuum levels to achieve the required residual oxygen values for each individual can at all process steps. It can also be used to <strong>Network entire production lines with machines from different manufacturers<\/strong> and thus optimise the overall system effectiveness in a targeted manner. Protecting the unsealed can is therefore a must. The patented functional lid fulfils this requirement. <strong>The cans are not transported open with product<\/strong>, but closed with a functional lid during evacuation and gassing.<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Optima Consumer development team is currently working on further key systems to offer even greater safety and efficiency in the production of infant formula powder.
