The machine has now been further optimised with a newly developed weighing platform. The Slack Belt technology helps to achieve even greater speed and precision.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/tag\/ishida\/\">Ishida<\/a> Flex-Grader sorts products of different sizes and shapes according to weight and quantity. To do this, the system combines a checkweigher with a modular distribution system. In addition, a scraper removes product build-up in order to achieve constant zero-point setting of the load cell. Slack Belt has a hygiene-friendly design and is waterproof in accordance with protection class IP68. This makes the component ideal for use in particularly harsh production environments. The belt can be easily removed for cleaning purposes. Multiple target weights with tolerances and priorities are also possible. The weigher calculates optimum weight combinations for transfer to the downstream modular distribution system. The products are transported via a conveyor belt with deflector arms into up to 32 collection containers, which can be individually configured.
