Together with the packaging service provider Verdesoft, Herrmann Ultraschall has developed a paper-based cup and a tube that can be sealed using ultrasound.<\/p>\n

The new packaging concepts offer product protection comparable to that of conventional plastic packaging and save up to 75 per cent plastic<\/strong> in.<\/p>\n

The advantages of ultrasonic sealing are also available for paper-based packaging. The cold tools do not damage the paper<\/strong> and only heat the sealing layer. The amount of energy introduced can be precisely parameterised.<\/p>
