The association is committed to a global circular economy for labels.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative founded in October 2020 <a href=\"https:\/\/celabglobal.org\/media\/toward-a-circular-economy-for-labels\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-schema-attribute=\"\">CELAB\u00a0<\/a>(Circular Economy for Labels) has set itself the goal of<strong> Improve the sustainability of self-adhesive labels<\/strong> and the <strong>Material recycling of all components<\/strong> to make this possible. At CELAB, the specialist for solutions in adhesives, sealants and functional coatings works together with other companies along the value chain. The aim is to support regional initiatives and promote the universal introduction of industry-wide best practices to enable global solutions.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201eTo truly rethink packaging and thereby create a sustainable circular economy, the entire value chain must work together. This is precisely why we are now one of the first members to join CELAB. Various areas of work deal with matrix and release liner recycling, including analysing technical issues, the<strong> Promotion of recycling networks<\/strong>, interaction with government supervisory authorities and educating the industry and the public.<\/p>\n<p>According to Henkel, packaging adhesives from Henkel are developed with a strong focus on the needs of consumers.
