This opens up additional design options for environmentally friendly labels.<\/p>\n<p>This is made possible by the use of a compostable transfer layer of the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kurz.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-schema-attribute=\"\"> Leonhard Kurz Foundation &amp; Co<\/a>. The labels finished with this do not lose their recyclability or compostability. Label manufacturer Etiket Schiller sees additional potential here. <strong>Design potential<\/strong> especially for producers of spirits, wines and delicacies.<\/p>\n<h2>Elegant embossing for sustainable labels<\/h2>\n<p>The hot stamping of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.etiket-schiller.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-schema-attribute=\"\">Label Schiller<\/a> with the transfer layer of the Leonhard Kurz Foundation convinces through <strong>Certified compostability<\/strong>. The transfer layer (e.g. LUXOR\u00ae MTS 220) of the finish has been tested in accordance with DIN EN 13432 as a harmless additive for the composting process. It enables a high-quality appearance with simultaneous environmental compatibility. This includes a <strong>Easy disposal<\/strong> in the industrial composting process. According to the Schiller label, the materials used at KURZ do not contain any ozone-depleting properties such as volatile halogenated hydrocarbons. In addition, no substances such as cadmium, lead, mercury or hexavalent chromium are used. Only a wafer-thin layer of aluminium and lacquer is applied together with the adhesive. According to the company, the transfer layer is around 6,000 times thinner than a human hair and gives the label the <strong>Desired embossing<\/strong>.
