The glass packaging manufacturer produced the matt blue glass bottle in Sweden.<\/p>\n<p>The limited edition bottle for the vodka <em>Absolute Movement<\/em> comes in a<strong> matt blue glass bottle with a spiral design<\/strong> consisting of 16 vortices, which is intended to symbolise the cycle of perpetual change.<\/p>\n<h2>Challenge for Ardagh<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/?s=Ardagh\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-schema-attribute=\"\">Ardagh<\/a> brought together design teams from the UK, Germany and Sweden to create the bottle based on a design by the <strong>Swedish design agency Frankenstein Studio<\/strong> design.<\/p><div class=\"packa-in-post-alle\" style=\"text-align: center;\" id=\"packa-3405374417\"><div id=\"packa-3048065463\"><a data-no-instant=\"1\" href=\"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/en\/newsletter\/\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"a2t-link\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"PJ Self-promotion English 03\"><!--noptimize--><img src=\"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/PJ-Eigenwerbung-English-03.png\" alt=\"\"  srcset=\"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/PJ-Eigenwerbung-English-03.png 840w, https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/PJ-Eigenwerbung-English-03-300x75.png 300w, https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/PJ-Eigenwerbung-English-03-768x192.png 768w, https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/PJ-Eigenwerbung-English-03-18x5.png 18w, https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/PJ-Eigenwerbung-English-03-332x83.png 332w, https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/PJ-Eigenwerbung-English-03-664x166.png 664w, https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/PJ-Eigenwerbung-English-03-688x172.png 688w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 840px) 100vw, 840px\" width=\"840\" height=\"210\"  style=\" max-width: 100%; height: auto;\" \/><!--\/noptimize--><\/a><\/div><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><em>\"<\/em>The biggest challenge was to design the 16 swirls with the optimum depth and sharpness to create the eye-catching effect on the bottle and to position them evenly around the Absolut logo embossed in the glass. In production, the swirl design covers 360\u00b0 of the bottle.\u201c <strong>Maria Persson<\/strong>, NPD Project Manager of the Glass Nordic division of the Ardagh Group<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>All bottle sizes (700ml, 750ml and 1 litre) were tested at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ardaghgroup.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-schema-attribute=\"\">Ardagh Group<\/a> in Limmared, Sweden. As in Ardagh's entire glass production, the use of recycled glass has also been maximised here.
