The proportion of recycled polyethylene (PE) has been significantly increased.

The company claims to have increased the proportion of recycled material to 50 per cent in its standard range of toilet cleaners, for example from the Biff brand. For the toilet cleaners in the Pro Nature range, the figure is 75 per cent, which is recycled plastic from end consumer households.

„It is an important step for us that we have been able to significantly increase the proportion of recycled PE in our toilet cleaners. This is because the availability of high-quality recyclate from this plastic is still limited. This success is also an incentive. Our goal is to continue to significantly increase the proportion of recycled material.“
Ulf Timmann, Head of Global Packaging Innovation Toilet Care & Hard Surface Cleaning

More recyclate and less plastic at the same time

The new packaging concept not only uses more recycled material, but also less plastic overall.
