Messe D\u00fcsseldorf has cancelled the world's leading trade fair for the glass industry, which was due to take place in June 2021. The next glasstec will take place as scheduled from 20 to 23 September 2022.<\/p>\n

Due to the ongoing pandemic and the continuing worldwide lockdown measures as well as international travel restrictions, glasstec will not take place as planned. In close consultation with associations and partners, Messe D\u00fcsseldorf has decided to postpone the glasstec already postponed from 2020 to 2021<\/strong>, which was planned from 15 to 18 June 2021. A successful realisation on the planned date in June is still not guaranteed under the current circumstances.<\/p>\n

\u201eBased on the extension of the lockdown and due to the ongoing infection situation, we cannot guarantee that the event will be held in the usual form and quality. In particular due to the Travel restrictions still in force<\/strong> would be the glasstec<\/a> with its high proportion of international exhibitors and visitors, could not do justice to its character as the world's leading trade fair for the glass industry.
