The company has now switched to Koehler NexPlus Seal paper for the packaging material of its sugar sticks.

Koehler NexPlus papers are characterised by a barrier coating with various functionalities. In particular, these are barriers for aromas, grease, oil, water vapour or gases, which are combined with the paper's own functionalities, such as high strength properties and a natural feel, to create a strong overall concept. The paper offers what is important for packaging: protection of the contents, protection of the environment and excellent processing properties.

The goal: 100 per cent recyclability

As part of an extensive sustainability project, all packaging used is to be converted to solutions that are 100 per cent recyclable in the coming years.

(Image: Tillmann Dörr)

„At the beginning, we worked with Koehler to define what function the packaging actually has to fulfil.
