Every year, the TOP 100 innovation award honours the 100 most innovative SMEs according to the jury. Packaging specialist Walther Faltsysteme is among this year's winners.<\/p>\n

Walther Faltsysteme regularly develops new Reusable transport solutions for logistics<\/strong>. Last year, the packaging specialist was honoured with the German Design Award and the pro-K award for a new roll container.<\/p>\n

Top 100 Innovation Award with special section on the coronavirus crisis<\/h2>\n

Innovation researcher Nikolaus Franke and his team assess the innovative strength of companies based on 120 test criteria in five categories. The core question is whether Innovations the result of a planned approach or a product of chance<\/strong> are. In addition, an assessment was made of whether and how the corresponding solutions are gaining acceptance on the market. Due to the current situation, there was also a special section in which the corporate response to the coronavirus crisis was analysed.<\/p>

An example of the innovative strength of Walther<\/a> is the volume-reducible mobile container. Last year, it was already honoured with the German Design Award and the pro-K Award. The third award as an innovative system is due in particular to a Patented quick coupling system<\/strong> with. This not only enables extremely easy handling, but also a volume reduction of up to 76 per cent, which is not possible with any other roller container.<\/p>\n

Reducing volumes is a major advantage, particularly in food retailing, as roller containers are often left unloaded in the warehouse outside of seasonal peaks and cause costs due to unnecessary space utilisation.<\/p>\n
