Robot-based solutions made easy: In the new Smart Series, Yaskawa combines some of its robots with preconfigured gripper solutions from different manufacturers. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The new Smart Series is a harmonised Plug&Play modular concept<\/strong> for robots and tools. Supplied are Pre-assembled packages<\/strong> with all the necessary accessories such as mechanical adapter flange mounting parts, electrical communication cables and sample jobs for quick commissioning, which are guaranteed to be coordinated and fit together in the sense of plug & play. This makes it easy to create robot solutions for collaborative or conventional applications\u00a0<\/strong>together. The Smart Series currently includes vacuum grippers and gripper modules from technology partners OnRobot and Weiss Robotics. Other manufacturers such as Schmalz and Zimmer are set to follow shortly.<\/p>\n

The path to the right Smart Series solution for the respective application is shown by a Online configurator<\/a>. A large selection of models and components enables the optimum solution for every task in the robot payload range up to 20 kg (including tools).<\/p>

A total of Eight popular Motoman robot models<\/strong> from the Yaskawa portfolio for the Smart Series: four collaborative hybrid robots from the Motoman HC series (10 and 20 kg payload), three models from the GP industrial robot series (7 to 12 kg payload) and the smallest Motoman model, the MotoMini. All Smart Series robots are supplied with the Compact control<\/strong> YRC1000micro and the innovative Smart Pendant. This particularly easy-to-use handheld control unit makes getting started with robotics especially simple.<\/p>\n
