Packaging film specialist Derschlag has invested in a 9-colour UV flexo press from Bobst to meet the demand for flexible packaging and new sustainable materials.<\/p>\n

The investment in a new Bobst Master M6 inline printing machine is part of a comprehensive Expansion of the Derschlag plant in Bad Berleburg<\/strong> in North Rhine-Westphalia. The packaging film specialist opted for this 9-colour UV flexographic printing press in order to be able to cope with the expected continuous increase in demand for flexible packaging and new sustainable materials.<\/p>\n

Flexibility thanks to first-class technology<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Over the past five years, Derschlag has significantly expanded its UV flexographic printing capacities and thus its headquarters in Bad Berleburg. In 2020, the new printing press Bobst<\/a> Master M6 and other punching and further processing machines have been installed. In addition, a Brand new production facility with expanded storage capacity<\/strong>.<\/p>

By the end of 2021, Derschlag will have more than more than 8,000 m in total2<\/sup> Production and storage space<\/strong> have. The company exports around 60 percent of its printed aluminium and plastic foils to customers in more than 30 countries in the form of rolls, die-cut sealing caps and blanks.<\/p>\n

Derschlag can process a wider range of materials

In view of the steadily increasing Customer demand for small and medium-sized quantities<\/strong> Derschlag was looking for a production technology that would enable the company to react more quickly to market requirements and, among other things, adapt packaging designs more flexibly. Ecological considerations also play an important role in its decisions - after all, Derschlag is continuously developing more environmentally friendly products and production processes.<\/p>
