{"id":45137,"date":"2021-06-02T11:00:29","date_gmt":"2021-06-02T09:00:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/?p=45137"},"modified":"2021-06-02T10:44:19","modified_gmt":"2021-06-02T08:44:19","slug":"lidle-tests-eco-score-labelling","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/en\/lidle-testet-eco-score-kennzeichnung\/","title":{"rendered":"Lidl launches Eco-Score labelling"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Lidl is now taking the next step towards transparent sustainability labelling of food products by testing Eco Score labelling in all its Berlin shops.<\/p>\n<p>The sustainability level of products transparent at a glance: From Monday, 7 June, Lidl will be the first German retailer to test the following in all its Berlin shops <strong>the five-level Eco-Score product labelling<\/strong> on the price tags of around 140 tea, coffee and dairy products.<\/p>\n<p>The food retailer, in partnership with the developer<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eco2initiative.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-schema-attribute=\"\"> ECO2 Initiative<\/a>how customers use the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lidl.de\/ecoscore\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-schema-attribute=\"\">Eco-Score<\/a> and thus the environmental impact of food and react with regard to their choice of product.
