Automatica Sprint will provide the robotics and automation industry with a digital meeting place for exchange, knowledge and business from 22 to 24 June 2021. Part of this format is also \u201eMunich_i\u201c - a newly created platform for robotics and artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n

On 22 June, the new trade fair format <\/strong>Automatica Sprint.<\/a> Participants can expect an extensive range of innovations as well as numerous presentations and discussion panels on challenges in the field of robotics and automation.<\/p>\n

Around 80 companies take part in Automatica Sprint<\/h2>\n

The digital format centres on the solutions and products of the approximately 80 Exhibitors<\/a>. The international industry representatives include ABB, Basler, Bosch Rexroth, Epson, Fanuc, Festo, Hahn Automation, IDS, Kuka, Manz, MVTec, Schaeffler, Schunk, Siemens, St\u00e4ubli as well as Teamtechnik, Universal and Yaskawa. In the companies' individual brand rooms, participants will have the opportunity to obtain detailed information and via various channels<\/strong> to get in direct contact with the exhibitors.<\/p>

Extensive supporting programme
\n<\/strong><\/h2>\n

In addition to the companies' brand rooms, Automatica Sprint also offers a versatile Supporting programme<\/a> on developments and trends in the automation industry. The Company Sessions<\/strong> offer insights into new developments and innovations from key industry players and range from specialist lectures to live product presentations and panel discussions on topics such as cobots, smart manufacturing, connectivity, energy efficiency and artificial intelligence. In addition, there will be daily roundtable discussions with industry experts on topics such as G5, robotics in SMEs or industrial image processing<\/strong> instead.<\/p>\n

The English discussion round<\/strong> \u201eApplying AI - How to create responsible technological innovations that promote wellbeing\u201c deals with the use of technical innovations such as AI, which are accompanied by ethical, social, political and legal challenges. Alongside Minister of State Bernd Sibler, representatives from BMW, Deutsches Museum, IBM and the Technical University of Munich (TUM) will discuss issues surrounding this topic. The discussion will be chaired by Prof Alena Buyx, Director of the Institute for the History and Ethics of Medicine and Director of Munich_i.<\/p>
