A packaging solution for an ice lolly was honoured twice.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The \u201eKrystal Kream\u201c competition entry by design student Hagen Neugebauer from the Stuttgart Media University (HdM Stuttgart) was honoured with the PIDA Gold Award. The winning concept is a <strong>Packaging for vegan Italian ice cream<\/strong> on a stick. The jury rated the concept as groundbreaking for the future in terms of material and design. The packaging was also honoured with the <strong>Highest level of innovation<\/strong> The jury awarded the prize for \u201ea completely new packaging concept for the relevant market segment\u201c.<\/p>\n<p>With his PIDA Gold Award at national level, Neugebauer automatically qualifies for the final on 27 September at the Luxe Pack in Monaco. There the <strong>International profits<\/strong>r will be chosen. It utilises different functions to accompany the product. A packaging solution that, together with the product, surprises and delights the buyer at all stages of use.\u201c<\/p>\n<p>In terms of sustainability, the winner was a packaging solution for reusable razors. For the jury, the new packaging for reusable razors also scored points for its <strong>\u201eVisual and haptic perception\u201c<\/strong>. When designing the packaging, the overall aesthetic effect with graphic elements, embossing and lacquer effects was taken into account, as were the aspects of product fixation and tamper and child safety.<\/p>\n<p>This means that this year <strong>all German winning entries<\/strong> by students from the Stuttgart Media University. The winners were selected by a jury of prominent industry experts who were impressed by this year's entries.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201eThe concepts submitted by the teams were all extremely exciting and well thought out. We discussed each competition entry in detail and at length before coming to a decision in the individual categories. The participants can be very proud of themselves.
