Karl Knauer has developed and produced a high-quality gift box for the Austrian Schlumberger wine and sparkling wine cellar. The packaging with carrying cord impresses with its extraordinary appearance and scratch resistance. <\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201eThe packaging for the Schlumberger \u201aSparkling Brut\u2018 had to leave a lasting and very high-quality impression,\u201c says Thomas Schulthei\u00df, Key Account Manager at Karl Knauer KG, summarising the requirements for the gift box to be developed. The result: a gift box that plays with an elaborate decor in black and gold as well as matt and gloss effects and is also hard-wearing.<\/p>\n

The latter was a particular challenge in this project: equipping the carton in such a way that it could withstand both transport and shipping in an outer packaging undamaged, i.e. without being damaged. without scratches<\/strong>, survives.<\/p>

With a matt black base material, this can only be realised with an additional protective layer. This is why the cardboard used at Karl Knauer is first printed in black, then cellophaned with a scratch-resistant matt film before the decoration is applied with gold foil embossing and a black UV gloss varnish. A colour-coordinated cord rounds off the gift packaging.<\/p>\n
