After four digital events in the USA\/UK, Sweden, France and Germany, four teams have received the competition's coveted PIDA Gold Award.<\/p>\n<p>The four winners automatically qualify for the grand final, which will take place on 27 September at the <strong>Luxe Pack in Monaco<\/strong> takes place.<\/p>\n<p>The winners of the <strong>PIDA Gold France<\/strong> are three design students from the IUT Reims, who also won the \u201eHighest level of Sustainability\u201c award. <em>Respice<\/em>, their victorious <strong>Packaging design for a spice set<\/strong> convinced the jury with its innovative idea and design. Sensory design is a new dimension that is an integral part of the packaging of tomorrow, said the Respice team about their concept. Their contribution <em>The Golden Bee Skincare<\/em> is a perfect match for this year's task, according to the jury - to design packaging that appeals to all the senses. The packaging is imaginative and original, as well as sustainable and user-friendly, according to the jury. The concept is not only functional, but also offers <strong>Novel properties<\/strong> when packing, unpacking, storing and sharing.<\/p>\n<h2>Stuttgart design student among the finalists of the PIDA design competition<\/h2>\n<p>The<strong> German Pida Gold Award<\/strong> goes to design student Hagen Neugebauer from the Stuttgart Media University for his packaging project <em>Krystal Kream<\/em> for a vegan Italian ice cream. According to the jury, the concept is not yet ready for use at the current stage of development, but <strong>the overall idea is considered sustainable and pioneering<\/strong> This is because many consumers want alternative solutions to the packaging materials used today.
