{"id":46446,"date":"2021-07-13T12:20:49","date_gmt":"2021-07-13T10:20:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/?p=46446"},"modified":"2021-07-13T12:20:49","modified_gmt":"2021-07-13T10:20:49","slug":"easy2cool-zim-cooperation-project-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/en\/easy2cool-zim-kooperationsprojekt-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"Easy2cool honoured as ZIM cooperation project of the year 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Federal Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy has honoured the insulated packaging for shipping, Easy2cool, as the \u201eZIM Cooperation Project of the Year 2021\u201c.<\/p>\n<p>The explanatory memorandum states: \u201eThe polystyrene and plastic packaging most commonly used in e-commerce for shipping food and medicines that require refrigeration is difficult to recycle. They therefore often end up in waste incineration. A sustainable alternative is packaging with film-coated recycled paper fibre mats. These can be safely disposed of in the <strong>Waste paper cycle<\/strong> be supplied.\u201c<\/p>\n<p>The award recognises outstanding research and development achievements and the particularly successful use of the results of the Central Innovation Programme for SMEs (<abbr title=\"Central innovation programme for SMEs\">ZIM<\/abbr>) projects were honoured.
