The DEA series (Developing the Evolution of Airless) does not require an internal plastic container.

For Baralan, the DEA series represents a „new philosophy of primary packaging in glass“: as it uses fewer components and significantly reduces the total amount of material, it is possible to offer lighter and more functional packaging.

In contrast to other airless systems, DEA does not have an internal plastic container and is therefore, according to the company, the first airless system in which the filled product is in direct contact with its glass container. Here, the airless nature helps to better preserve the integrity of the product ingredients. Glass is also known to be significantly more compatible with the formulations. The containers in the new series are suitable for various applications and are extremely versatile.

Baralan focusses on more sustainability

The DEA series is available in two versions: Classic and Premium. Both versions offer for the glass container of Disposable or reusable solutions. The concept of the refillable version makes it easy to replace the glass container in order to promote the reusability of the components - in the interests of sustainability. In addition, the use of lubricants can be dispensed with, which is Particular ease of movement of the piston inside the glass container.
