{"id":47883,"date":"2021-08-24T10:20:14","date_gmt":"2021-08-24T08:20:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/?p=47883"},"modified":"2021-08-24T10:20:14","modified_gmt":"2021-08-24T08:20:14","slug":"wentus-recyclable-barrier-films","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/en\/wentus-recyelbare-barrierefolien\/","title":{"rendered":"High-performance recyclable barrier films"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This year's Fachpack presentation by Wentus GmbH will focus on resource-saving packaging solutions: Films that have been further reduced in material thickness and improved in their recyclability will be presented.<\/p>\n<p>Reducing the CO2 footprint of food packaging is right at the top of the agenda for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wentus.de\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-schema-attribute=\"\">Wentus GmbH from H\u00f6xter<\/a>. The aim is to harmonise more environmentally friendly packaging with the high demands of the food industry in terms of quality, hygiene and appearance.<\/p>\n<p>The high-performance Wentopro PaperLine 20 barrier films are predestined for the <strong>Lining of paper and cardboard trays.<\/strong> The liners are sealable against coated paper and their adhesive strength can be adjusted in relation to the fibre stock. Their barrier against MOSH\/MOAH offers reliable protection against the migration of mineral oil components from printing inks. The films are available with or without peel. They are also up to 15 per cent thinner. With the monomaterial k<strong>Composites can be replaced<\/strong>. Compared to other packaging concepts, films from the PureForm series help to extend the best-before date of the packaged goods.<\/p>\n<p>The Wentoplex clamshell pack for sliced products attracts attention with less material usage, less weight and lower packaging costs: the PET\/PE flowpacks can be easily opened along the defined opening paths.
