The range extends from films, pre-made pouches and labels to cardboard packaging. Visitors can also find out more about the recently opened Film Science Lab Winsford (UK).<\/p>\n<p>One of Coveris' trade fair highlights will be the new <strong>Duralite-R film, which is made from up to 100 per cent recycled PE<\/strong> exists. It is a further contribution to the circular economy for plastic packaging and to a better CO2 balance. In addition <strong>Removable labels<\/strong> which facilitate the recycling of PET bottles and containers. They meet the requirements of the British deposit system and enable PET to be fully and cleanly recycled so that it can be reused for rPET.<\/p>\n<p>Visitors to the trade fair will also have the opportunity to see the alternative packaging solutions made of paper and cardboard from <a href=\"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/?s=coveris\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-schema-attribute=\"\">Coveris<\/a> at close quarters. These are particularly characterised by their natural look and feel when it comes to food packaging. The new<strong> Trays with linerless label for fruit and vegetables<\/strong> are made from 100 per cent FSC-certified paper. (Image: Coveris)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Another example of packaging solutions made from fully recyclable materials is the <strong>MonoFlex product range, the recyclable PE and PP films and laminates<\/strong> includes. It was first presented at FachPack 2019 and is now available for all food and pet food applications (recently also for baked goods) and in a wide variety of shapes and sizes.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201eSustainability is particularly important to us. We are therefore taking targeted steps towards a \u201agreener\u2018 future on several levels. With our new, company-wide sustainability strategy \u201aNo Waste\u2018, we want to make our packaging and production processes as well as our packaging solutions more environmentally friendly and avoid waste. The centre offers Coveris customers support through industrial trials, cross-departmental training, on-site testing and direct validation.<\/p>\n<p>This year, Coveris opened the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.coveris.com\/media\/newsroom\/coveris-unveils-state-of-the-art-film-science-lab-to-support-no-waste-strat\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-schema-attribute=\"\">Film Science Lab<\/a> in Winsford<\/strong>, which has already established itself as a centre of excellence for industrial, agricultural and recycled stretch film products. The Coveris team of experts develops and tests functional, high-performance and easily recyclable PE and coex films in this modern materials laboratory. One of the latest innovations, for example, is the <strong>Cereal+ film<\/strong>.
