These include customised compounds based on PCR (post-consumer recyclate) or PIR (post-industrial recyclate), depending on the application. Depending on the product type, the proportion of recyclates ranges from 30 to 50 per cent. The bio-based content can reach up to 33 per cent. The technical properties can be specifically adapted to the application, constantly adjusted and customised for optimum process capability. This means that both injection moulding and extrusion grades are available. In addition to technical parts, typical applications for Terralene rPP, which is designed as a drop-in product, primarily include<strong> Rigid packaging and films in the non-food sector<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\"Sustainable packaging solutions and circularity are the core themes of our Fachpack presentation this year. With the presentation of our expanded bioplastics and recyclate portfolio, we now offer our customers a wealth of product solutions for these topics. For packaging manufacturers, we offer both domestic and industrially compostable as well as fully or partially bio-based plastics and recyclate-based grades.
