{"id":48887,"date":"2021-09-14T13:42:33","date_gmt":"2021-09-14T11:42:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/?p=48887"},"modified":"2021-09-14T13:42:33","modified_gmt":"2021-09-14T11:42:33","slug":"generational-change-project-group-of-companies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/en\/generationswechsel-project-unternehmensgruppe\/","title":{"rendered":"Generation change at the Project Group"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Project Group completes a generational change and founds Project Automation &amp; Consulting GmbH, a subsidiary focussing on engineering and consulting services.<\/p>\n<p>Stefan and Uschi Opgenorth as well as Johannes Jansen and Ingrid Quartier-Jansen will take on other roles at the automation specialist as of 1 October. <a href=\"https:\/\/project-sp.de\/generationswechsel-bei-der-project-unternehmensgruppe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-schema-attribute=\"\">Project group of companies<\/a> from Kranenburg (NRW). <strong>Uschi Opgenorth and Ingrid Quartier-Jansen<\/strong> will concentrate on accounting tasks. <strong>Stefan Opgenorth and Johannes Jansen<\/strong> focus on their role as owners\/shareholders.<\/p>\n<p>Jan Hanenkamp, Sebastian M\u00fcnnekhoff and Ingo Rathmann, three long-standing managers, are now managing directors of two subsidiaries. Ingo Rathmann takes over the management of the newly founded Project Automation &amp; Consulting GmbH. The tasks of the <a href=\"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/?s=project+a%26E\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-schema-attribute=\"\">Project A&amp;E<\/a> integrated. Project Service &amp; Produktion GmbH thus implements sophisticated automation solutions for packaging processes, including <strong>for the beverage, food and hygiene industry<\/strong>, but also in the wood, steel, construction, glass, paper and textile industries.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201eJan Hanenkamp, Sebastian M\u00fcnnekhoff and Ingo Rathmann have been with the company for around 30 years. We are deliberately implementing the generational change at an early stage and, as shareholders, will be focussing on overarching strategic and sales tasks for the Project Group in future. Project Automation &amp; Consulting GmbH is an important partner for us. <strong>Additional strategic building block<\/strong>, to expand our portfolio.\u201c Stefan Opgenorth and Johannes Jansen, owners of the Project Group<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Previously, the design engineers worked almost exclusively on internal customer projects. Now Ingo Rathmann and his team offer engineering and consulting services <strong>also separately external customers<\/strong> on. As we are very familiar with production issues due to our proximity to our sister company, this valuable implementation expertise is already incorporated into our engineering work.\u201c <strong>Ingo Rathmann<\/strong> has been with the company since 2012. He and his team have already provided a wide range of engineering services for automation projects for well-known companies. \u201eI think it's good that our owners are still on board, albeit in a different role. We want to continue to benefit from their enormous knowledge and decades of experience,\u201c says Rathmann.<\/p>\n<h2>Project Service &amp; Production: A wealth of expertise in vertical integration<\/h2>\n<p>Jan Hanenkamp and Sebastian M\u00fcnnekhoff from Project Service &amp; Production are also looking forward to their new role: \u201eAs long-standing managers, we were able to work closely with the shareholders. We are looking forward to our role as managing directors and to working together in a new constellation. Particularly challenging projects such as automation in confined spaces have always been our business.
