The Recup cups and Rebowl bowls can be returned to all partners of the deposit system throughout Germany.<\/p>\n<p>From today the <strong>Reusable deposit system<\/strong> in 340 participating BioMarkets and Denns BioMarkets. The Reucp cup for hot drinks can be borrowed for a deposit of 1 euro. Customers who pay a 5 euro deposit can have products from the counter, such as cheese, sausage or lunch dishes, packed in the Rewbol tray. How customers save <strong>Disposable packaging<\/strong> even if they have forgotten their own containers. By introducing this offer, BioMarkt Verbund is emphasising its efforts to promote sustainable reusable solutions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201eIt is part of our <strong>Basic understanding<\/strong>, to work responsibly towards avoiding packaging waste and, where feasible, to use sensible alternatives to plastic packaging,\u201c explains <strong>Joseph Nossol<\/strong>, member of the sales committee of the BioMarkt Association and Managing Director of Denns BioMarkt. \u201eRecup and Rebowl are a system that is as simple as it is sensible. The reusable cups and bowls can be borrowed for a deposit and returned later. To this end, the organic markets rely on an extensive range of unpackaged goods, for example. The proportion of loose fruit and vegetables is now up to 90 per cent. In addition, around 20 organic markets <strong>Unpacked stations<\/strong> where selected dry goods can be filled as required. At cheese, sausage and baked goods counters, consumers have been using the option of having their own containers filled in compliance with all hygiene regulations for years.
