Smarties claims to be the first global confectionery brand with recyclable paper packaging.<\/p>\n<p>The Smarties packaging is made from recyclable paper, paper labels or cardboard. The paper comes from sustainable sources. The brand shows fans of the chocolate lentils how to dispose of the Smarties wrappers correctly on the product packaging.<\/p>\n<p>The colourful brand also scored with the size of the changeover. With the introduction of the new look across the entire range, Smarties is the first global confectionery brand with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nestle.de\/medien\/medieninformationen\/rollenwechsel-nestle-verbannt-plastik-deckel-co-aus-der-bunten-smarties-welt\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">recyclable paper packaging<\/a>en. The new Smarties range replaces 250 million items of plastic packaging every year.
