The lid of the disposable cup is also made from a fully recyclable dispersion barrier board and is suitable for both hot and cold drinks.<\/p>\n<p>The lid is produced by Finnish start-up The Paper Lid Company using a new technical process that allows the material to be moulded into the desired shape. The result is a one-piece cardboard lid that sits firmly on the cup and offers similar performance characteristics to a conventional plastic lid.<\/p>\n<p>\u201eReducing plastic waste is a particularly important issue for us and our environment. The company has now created the technical conditions at its production site in Masku, southern Finland, to be able to enter the recycling market. <strong>Series production<\/strong> to go.
