The organisers have already announced a \u201eCall for Innovation\u201c. Six nominees will then have the opportunity to present their products.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-018b54c exad-sticky-section-no exad-glass-effect-no elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"018b54c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The footsteps are big: in 2021, the <a title=\"Our articles on the topic of Stora Enso\" href=\"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/tag\/stora-enso\/\">Stora Enso<\/a> from Sweden won the Innovation Award, which was presented on the first day of the International Conference on Cellulose Fibres. Their new cellulose foam for packaging won over the audience. Second place went to Kelheim Fibres (Germany) with their high-quality hygiene products made from cellulose, ahead of the third place winner <a title=\"Our articles on the topic of Mets\u00e4 Board\" href=\"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/tag\/metsae-board\/\">Mets\u00e4 Spring<\/a> from Finland, who presented a new process for the production of cellulose fibres.<\/p><p>The nova-Institute has opened the application phase for the award <strong>\u201eCellulose Fibre Innovation of the Year 2022\u201c<\/strong> open until 15 November 2021. All producers, inventors and pioneers along the entire value chain from raw material to end product are invited to take part in the competition. Developments of new technologies or applications are welcome. After short presentations by the six candidates at the conference, the three winners will be chosen by the conference participants and honoured with the Innovation Award at a festive gala dinner.
