For ten years now, consumers have been able to report packaging that they find misleading online to the consumer advice centre.<\/strong><\/p><p>For the past ten years, consumers have been able to <a title=\"Homepage of Lebensmittelklarheit\" href=\"https:\/\/www.lebensmittelklarheit.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Lebensmittelklarheit.de<\/a> anonymously report products whose packaging they find misleading. <strong>12,000 Notes<\/strong> <strong>have so far been received by the Federation of German Consumer Organisations<\/strong>. And there are more and more reports.<\/p><p>Stefanie Wetzel, Project Coordinator for Food Clarity at the Federation of German Consumer Organisations, told the <strong>rbb consumer magazine Super.Markt<\/strong>\u201eOn the one hand, this is because consumers are much more educated today. Wurstwaren GmbH, which is based there, advertises its products with the label \u201eSpreewaldfarm - in harmony with nature\u201c, suggesting that the meat comes from \u201egood\u201c farming. The company intends to refrain from misleading advertising in future and explains: \u201eWe consider the warning from the consumer advice centre to be justified. <strong>legally and substantively correct<\/strong>. Langnese advertises with 100 per cent natural ingredients for a stick ice cream that contains artificial substances such as emulsifiers, flavourings and stabilisers.<\/span><\/p><p style=\"line-height: 18.0pt; box-sizing: border-box; font-variant-ligatures: normal; font-variant-caps: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: start; widows: 2; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; text-decoration-thickness: initial; text-decoration-style: initial; text-decoration-color: initial; word-spacing: 0px; margin: 0cm 0cm 9.0pt 0cm;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Helvetica',sans-serif; color: #303c49;\">CEO Klaus M\u00fcller demands: \u201eWe need better labelling rules that ensure greater clarity and truth on food labels and in advertising.\u201c Politicians must support this with
