Norma's own brand Ernte Krone optimises its potato nets and saves 50 percent packaging material in the process. Only one material is used for the net and sleeve during production.<\/p>\n

Thanks to the new Claf carry-fresh nets, the company now saves up to 50 per cent of packaging material. The net and sleeve now only consist of from one material<\/strong>. This makes disposal in the yellow bin even more convenient. The more environmentally friendly packaging nets from Norma<\/a> have the usual properties, are tear-resistant, stable and easy to wear.<\/p>\n

Potato nets are easy to recycle<\/strong><\/h2>\n

With its more resource-friendly nets, the Nuremberg-based food discounter Norma is taking a further step in the company's sustainability offensive. The potatoes are already available in the Claf nets. With 23 grams of plastic per square metre<\/strong> fewer resources are required to produce the nets for the 1.5kg of organic potatoes than for conventional nets (55g\/sqm). The material also impresses with its recyclability.<\/p>

Every package from Norma should now tested in terms of sustainability<\/strong> can be used. Adjustments have already been made to cotton buds, aluminium foil and grass paper bags. The aim is to save resources - above all plastic - and thus have a positive impact on the environmental balance.<\/p>\n
