Gerresheimer is committed to returning plastic waste to the material cycle. In addition to the already established cosmetics packaging made from various blends of recycled PET (rPET), the company now also offers rPET made from ocean-bound plastic. Gerresheimer presented this offer to its customers for the first time at Luxepack in Monaco.<\/strong><\/p><p>\u201dWe are delighted to present this material to our customers for their sustainability concepts. As less energy is required for recycling, the CO<sub>2<\/sub>-demand during production. The results show that it <strong>no significant difference between this material and untreated PET material<\/strong> is available. Only the basic colour of the ocean-bound material differs slightly from the PET virgin material.<\/p><p><a title=\"Website of Gerresheimer\" href=\"https:\/\/www.gerresheimer.com\/home\"
