In future, the company wants to reduce its overall use of plastics.<\/p>\n<p>At three production sites in Germany, the Valensina Group fills approx. <strong>240 million litres<\/strong> fruit juices and nectars as well as fruit juice drinks in various chilled and non-chilled containers. The family business has now launched its first <a href=\"https:\/\/www.valensina-gmbh.de\/Nachhaltigkeit\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sustainability report<\/a> which defines five areas that the company intends to work on intensively in the future. Among other things, the company wants to <strong>Development of environmentally friendly packaging<\/strong> force.<\/p>\n<p>\u201eWe have to lead by example and have therefore set ourselves clear goals for the coming years in various stages of the manufacturing process as well as in environmental and social issues in the supply chain in order to make our company more sustainable,\u201c say the two <strong>Managing Directors Tino Mocken and Felix M\u00fcller<\/strong>. \u201eThis sustainability report is our first. It complies with the demanding international GRI standards. This makes us one of the pioneers among medium-sized companies in our industry. According to the Valensina Group, packaging is \u201eone of the <strong>Core competences<\/strong>\u201c of the company. Currently, the vast majority of packaging materials are made of plastic.
