With the Masterline DRO, Bobst is launching a complete solution on the market that is fully equipped from the prefeeder to palletising. With it, Bobst aims to provide packaging manufacturers with a versatile solution with what it claims is the highest level of automation and networking on the market.<\/p>\n

The machine is equipped with the latest Bobst technology<\/a> including ten patented solutions. High-quality internal and external printing on corrugated board in a single operation, complex die-cutting and fast job changes along the entire line are the key features of the new Masterline DRO, according to Bobst. The machine has an annual output of more than 40 million square metres<\/strong> and combines the production of large quantities of simple folding boxes with the production of high-quality printed and die-cut packaging that offers added value.<\/p>\n

Bobst Masterline DRO offers potential savings<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The Masterline DRO produces every single folding crate with high, consistent quality. In addition, the packaging is said to be characterised by a 15 percent higher stacking crush resistance (BCT), which offers enormous savings potential in terms of paper consumption.<\/p>\n

Two quality assurance systems<\/strong> ensure perfect stability of the print register during set-up and production: Start & Go<\/strong> allows the fully automatic register setting of multi-colour jobs, whereby any clich\u00e9 irregularities are automatically corrected after just eleven sheets. Lead & Print<\/strong> In turn, this guarantees the consistency of the print-to-print and print-to-punch register during production and proactively compensates for irregularities in the corrugated board sheets. The integrated, high-performance dust extraction system is designed to ensure perfect print quality and the efficient die-cutting process eliminates 99.9 per cent of all die-cutting waste.<\/p>
