With it, Bobst aims to provide packaging manufacturers with a versatile solution with what it claims is the highest level of automation and networking on the market.

The machine is equipped with the latest Bobst technology including ten patented solutions. High-quality internal and external printing on corrugated board in a single operation, complex die-cutting and fast job changes along the entire line are the key features of the new Masterline DRO, according to Bobst. The machine has an annual output of more than 40 million square metres and combines the production of large quantities of simple folding boxes with the production of high-quality printed and die-cut packaging that offers added value.

„The Masterline DRO covers the requirements that the market places on the Production of high-quality packaging including e-commerce packaging. It enables these to be delivered more quickly with more sustainable production,“ explains David Arnaud, Product Marketing Director FFG DRO. „In view of the ever-increasing demands of the branded goods industry on the die-cutting and printing quality of their corrugated board packaging, it is becoming increasingly important for manufacturers of this packaging to be able to achieve both and produce profitably at the same time. The Masterline DRO offers them exactly these possibilities.
