The survey polled 12,000 consumers in six countries worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>The study showed that <strong>76 per cent of consumers<\/strong> in the USA, UK, Germany, Australia, China and Brazil want to recycle more and that recyclability is the most important sustainability feature for packaging - ahead of other aspects such as reusability and the materials used.<\/p>\n<p>Consumers are also demanding changes from manufacturers and governments: 83 per cent said that brand manufacturers should make it clearer how to recycle packaging.
