Moving away from plastic in sales packaging will require the development of new solutions and close collaboration with product development teams and IKEA suppliers around the world. Only for some <strong>Plastic packaging will continue to be used for products in the IKEA food range<\/strong> - wherever they are still necessary after 2028 for reasons of quality and food safety standards.
