ABB will supply robotic cells that will enable Zume to produce sustainable packaging on a global scale and help reduce dependence on single-use plastic.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-33de5f0 exad-sticky-section-no exad-glass-effect-no elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"33de5f0\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>ABB will supply more than 1,000 MFC (moulded fibre manufacturing cells) with up to 2,000 robots to Zume over the next five years. Zume will supply the cells to <strong>Integrate and install at locations worldwide<\/strong>. Additionally uses <a href=\"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/?s=abb+robotics\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ABB<\/a> its programme management capabilities and automation experts from the Global Solution Centers network. This should enable the modularity and speed required for the introduction of the solutions. New packaging must be sustainable and at the same time easy to mould and as cost-effective as plastic. The containers are formed from the plant material using Zume's fibre forming cells, which are integrated with two ABB IRB 6700 robots. Each cell<strong> processes up to two tonnes of agricultural material every day, resulting in 80,000 pieces of sustainable packaging.<\/strong> are created.<\/p><p>In co-operation with<a href=\"https:\/\/global.abb\/group\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> ABB<\/a> Zume plans to equip factories with up to 100 robot cells each.
