Kellogg wants to test paper inner bags for its cereals in the UK from January 2022. The pilot project will be carried out in selected shops of partner Tesco.<\/p>\n

According to the company, the plastic bag is currently not being collected from households in the UK to the required extent. If the test is positive, the Kellogg's Corn Flakes packaging will be completely on largely recyclable paper packaging<\/strong> be converted. The pilot will be carried out in a small number of shops from January 2022 in collaboration with Tesco.<\/p>\n

The from Kellogg<\/a> developed paper-based inner packaging must not only withstand the filling process and sealing as well as transport to the retail outlet without damage. It must also ensure that the cereals can be stored in paper-based packaging. the shelf life of twelve months<\/strong> retain.<\/p>

Kellogg and Tesco have already worked closely together on several initiatives to improve the recyclability of their packaging. In 2020, for example, a Fully recyclable Pringle's paper can<\/strong> tested.<\/p>\n
