{"id":53184,"date":"2021-12-06T14:22:13","date_gmt":"2021-12-06T13:22:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/?p=53184"},"modified":"2021-12-06T14:22:13","modified_gmt":"2021-12-06T13:22:13","slug":"compostable-tea-packaging-from-parkside","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/en\/kompostierbare-teeverpackung-von-parkside\/","title":{"rendered":"Parkside develops compostable packaging for tea bags"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Parkside, a British manufacturer of flexible packaging, has developed a new packaging for Bird &amp; Blend loose tea bags that is fully compostable.<\/p>\n<p>The new packaging for the loose tea bags from Bird &amp; Blend, which are themselves already plastic-free, consists of <strong>made of paper and metallised NatureFlex cellulose film from Futamura<\/strong>, which is made from sustainably sourced wood pulp.<\/p>\n<p>According to the manufacturer, the packaging offers good barrier performance, which helps to extend the shelf life of the loose tea bags.
