The Lifocolor Group has established its LifoCycle solutions for the refinement of such plastic applications and packaging made from PCRs (post-consumer recyclates) and PIRs (post-industrial recyclates). The masterbatch formulations are<strong> specially designed for recycling projects and provide ideal support for multiple processing<\/strong> with their properties. The colour masterbatches are characterised by very good results in terms of their opacity, light diffusion, weather fastness, abrasion effect, dispersion, refractive index and degree of whiteness. To optimise recyclability, Lifocolor has also developed a new <strong>NIR-detectable black variant<\/strong> on PCR carrier material for polyolefins. With this <strong>Coloured plastic products are detected by sorting systems in the near-infrared range (NIR) and can be fed into the recycling cycle in a polymer-specific manner.<\/strong> can be sorted, while other, conventionally black-coloured goods without successful NIR detection usually have to be disposed of thermally.
