The family-owned company is now publishing a Group-wide sustainability report for the first time. Eckes-Granini is implementing its strategy in six core areas: Sustainable juice, packaging, climate protection, nutrition, social responsibility and employees.<\/strong><\/p><p>\u201eWe have been driving forward our sustainability activities very consistently for years because we are aware of our responsibility as a family business,\u201c explains Tim Berger, CEO of the <a title=\"Our articles on the topic Eckes-Granini\" href=\"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/tag\/eckes-granini\/\">Eckes-Granini Group<\/a>. \u201eSustainable management is deeply rooted in our DNA as a family business and fruit juice producer. Between 2015 and 2020, the weight of packaging within the entire product range was reduced by 10 per cent. The proportion of added sugar in fruit drinks and nectars was also reduced by 10 per cent during this period. In <strong>Cooperation with ClimatePartner<\/strong> the conditions for climate neutrality at all Eckes-Granini locations were created. Since 1 January 2021, all Eckes-Granini national subsidiaries have carried the ClimatePartner label \u201eClimate Neutral Company\u201c.<\/p><div class=\"packa-in-post-alle packa-entity-placement\" style=\"text-align: center;\" id=\"packa-4135016295\"><div id=\"packa-1235131916\"><a data-no-instant=\"1\" href=\"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/en\/newsletter\/\" rel=\"noopener\" class=\"a2t-link\" target=\"_blank\" aria-label=\"PJ Self-promotion English 03\"><!--noptimize--><img src=\"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/PJ-Eigenwerbung-English-03.png\" alt=\"\"  srcset=\"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/PJ-Eigenwerbung-English-03.png 840w, https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/PJ-Eigenwerbung-English-03-300x75.png 300w, https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/PJ-Eigenwerbung-English-03-768x192.png 768w, https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/PJ-Eigenwerbung-English-03-18x5.png 18w, https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/PJ-Eigenwerbung-English-03-332x83.png 332w, https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/PJ-Eigenwerbung-English-03-664x166.png 664w, https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/PJ-Eigenwerbung-English-03-688x172.png 688w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 840px) 100vw, 840px\" width=\"840\" height=\"210\"  style=\" max-width: 100%; height: auto;\" \/><!--\/noptimize--><\/a><\/div><\/div><p>In the coming years, further goals will be pursued as part of the sustainability strategy on the way to becoming one of the most sustainable fruit juice producers:<\/p><ul><li>By 2030 at the latest, 100 per cent of juices and purees should be made exclusively from <strong>sustainably grown fruit<\/strong> can be produced.<\/li><li>By 2025, all PET bottles across the Group are to be made from <strong>100 per cent r-PET (recycled PET)<\/strong> and the packaging weight of the products (PET, glass, closures) should be reduced by a further 10 per cent.<\/li><li>The proportion of added sugar in fruit drinks and nectars within the overall product range is set to fall by a further 10 per cent by 2025.<\/li><li>The Eckes-Granini science-based targets (SBT) reduction targets: By 2030 <strong>Scope 1 and 2 emissions reduced by 95 per cent<\/strong> and <strong>Scope 3 emissions per litre by 50 per cent or by 40 per cent in absolute terms<\/strong>, assuming volume growth of 20 per cent.<\/li><li>By 2030, Eckes-Granini <strong>100 per cent on climate-friendly heating and drive technologies<\/strong> um.<\/li><li>By 2025, Team Rynkeby is to be supported in reaching a total donation sum of 100 million euros for seriously ill children and their families.<\/li><\/ul><blockquote><p>\u201eAt Eckes-Granini, we have a keen awareness of the impact of our business activities on consumers, society and the environment. At the same time, we believe that <strong>Improvements in the area of sustainability are compatible with our economic growth and the expansion of our international business activities<\/strong> are.
