With new functional barrier paper solutions, plastic consumption is to be reduced by 80 per cent.<\/p>\n<p>Iceland <strong>replaces its previous packaging<\/strong> through Mondi's functional barrier paper for a range of products. The first newly packaged product range is the retailer's frozen chicken sticks.<\/p>\n<p>The barrier paper is made from renewable raw materials, whereby <a href=\"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/tag\/=mondi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mondi <\/a><strong>carries out paper production and coating in-house<\/strong> and thus offers a fully integrated solution.
