Pre-frozen cold packs are also used.<\/p>\n<p>Fresh fish and seafood from Wilhelmshaven: Wolfgang Kalter GmbH has also been offering its products via its online shop \u201eSend-a-fish.de\u201c for several years and relies on various refrigerated packaging from Ecocool GmbH. To speed up the dispatch process, the packaging specialist from Bremerhaven also provides its customers with extra pre-frozen cooling elements. <strong>The insulated packaging and cool packs ensure that the temperature-sensitive goods are always well protected<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201eIn this way, our customer can use the standard parcel service, as the target temperatures are safely maintained for up to 48 hours with our refrigerated packaging.\u201c <strong>Dr Florian Siedenburg<\/strong>, Ecocool Managing Director<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The partners Kalter and <a href=\"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/tag\/=ecocool\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ecocool<\/a> also rely on packaging technology that is as sustainable as possible. The fish retailer uses the Smartcooler shipping bag for its frozen goods and the innovative Innobag shipping bag from Ecocool for fresh fish. The insulating material of both products is characterised by <strong>is characterised by a high recycling rate of more than 80 percent.<\/strong> Kalter also purchases the frozen cooling elements ex works and transports them as additional cargo when the freshly caught fish is collected from the harbour in Bremerhaven. The insulating material of the Innobag <strong>is based on pulp from paper recycling<\/strong>. In conjunction with the Ecocool cooling elements, the target temperature can be kept below four degrees Celsius for between 24 and 48 hours during despatch - depending on the format and the coolant added.<\/p>\n<h2>Pre-frozen cooling elements speed up despatch<\/h2>\n<p>A third component is the cooling elements. This is where Kalter<strong> to the new service from Ecocool, pre-frozen cold packs ex works on request<\/strong> to offer. These are provided in folding boxes and labelled as being reusable.<\/p>\n<p>The use of pre-frozen <a href=\"https:\/\/ecocool.de\/de\/produkte\/kuehlelemente\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cooling elements<\/a> enables higher productivity and a significantly higher dispatch volume. This benefits the company particularly during seasonal peaks such as Easter or Christmas.
