Since August 2020, Ecoon GmbH & Co. KG from Stuhr near Bremen has been selling environmentally friendly packaging and shipping packaging for the B2C and B2B sector<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Renewable and recycled materials <\/strong><\/h2>\n

The environmentally friendly production as well as the use of recycled, recyclable or renewable materials<\/a> plays a major role in the selection of shipping packaging. As an example, Dennis Schulze mentions Folding cartons made from grass paper<\/strong>The natural raw material grass grows back quickly and is also obtained regionally.<\/p>\n

Ecoon offers grass paper boxes in a wide range of sizes. The company also pays attention to short supply chains when it comes to procurement. \u201eFor us, a sustainable circular economy also means looking at the entire supply chain. Short distances are important.<\/strong> Our suppliers therefore all come from Germany or other European countries. For example, we source our cardboard boxes made from grass paper from a manufacturer in the region.\u201c<\/p>\n

In addition to a large selection of environmentally friendly shipping boxes, there are numerous other products in the start-up's range. Environmentally friendly paper adhesive tapes, bubble wrap or paper padding<\/strong> as well as home-compostable thermal packaging made from jute. An expansion of the portfolio to include sustainable innovations is planned in the near future, but Dennis Schulze does not want to reveal any more.<\/p>\n

Ecoon notices high demand<\/h2>\n

The products from Ecoon<\/a> are aimed at retailers and manufacturers who want to ship their products in an environmentally friendly way. \u201eAlthough we are still a young company, we can tell from the high demand that we are attracting a lot of interest with our offering,\u201c says Schulze.<\/p>\n

The costs for the environmentally friendly shipping solutions are slightly higher than those of conventional shipping packaging. But: \u201eWe offer fair prices. The surcharge is low, because We want prices that are marketable<\/strong> and conventional shipping packaging.
