Fraunhofer Umsicht tested the tool for its user-friendliness and the applicability of the legal rules and requirements. The result: the tool is easy to use, the rules of the minimum standard of the Central Agency Packaging Register (MstSZSVr) are applied stringently and packaging can be analysed precisely in its individual components.<\/b><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-136ed65 exad-sticky-section-no exad-glass-effect-no elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"136ed65\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Packaging is complex: outer packaging made of cardboard, individual parts additionally packaged in PET film, a water-soluble label or perhaps an adhesive film. In order to <strong>Assess the recyclability of everyday packaging<\/strong>packaging type, components and materials must be taken into account. Extensive knowledge of (multi-)national requirements is also necessary. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.recyda.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Recyda GmbH<\/a> has a <strong>Flexible evaluation tool developed, which can model various specifications (\"regulations\") for recyclability<\/strong>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-fb68361 exad-sticky-section-no exad-glass-effect-no elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"fb68361\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">User-friendliness is key<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-57b69ba exad-sticky-section-no exad-glass-effect-no elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"57b69ba\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><a href=\"https:\/\/packaging-journal.de\/?s=fraunhofer+umsicht\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fraunhofer prudence<\/a> has tested the digital implementation of the MstSZSVr specifications as one of the regulations mapped in Recyda. The result: <strong>Recyda is a user-friendly evaluation tool<\/strong>which analyses the recyclability of packaging. Depending on the set of rules used, the result is displayed scaled as a percentage or in colour and marked with <strong>Notes on categorisation in comparison with the respective (trans)national regulations<\/strong> provided. Fraunhofer Umsicht also recommends providing a glossary of MstSZSVr terms and updating it regularly so that non-specialists can also use the tool.
