Julius Meinl's sustainability goals include developing guidelines for the procurement of sustainable green coffee in 2022 and making coffee capsules made from 100 per cent biodegradable materials part of its product range.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\">Julius Meinl has invested in an in-depth scientific analysis of the entire coffee value chain. This involves analysing resources, cultivation and harvesting, transport, production, distribution and disposal, resulting in the <strong>Development of a strategy for long-term collaboration with stakeholders<\/strong> contribute to this.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\" xml:lang=\"EN-GB\">Julius Meinl has taken several steps as part of its environmental impact assessment along the entire coffee value chain. These include the global procurement of <strong>Compostable cups and lids made from bagasse (the fibrous remains of sugar cane) for takeaway coffee<\/strong>.
