With Unterland R, Coveris has developed a new stretch film for wrapping silage bales. It is made from at least 30 per cent recycled material from collected agricultural film.<\/p>\n

The latest member of the Coveris Unterland family is characterised by improved sustainable properties that meet the trend of growing demand for environmentally friendly wrapping solutions for bales<\/strong> on the agricultural market.<\/p>\n

In contrast to previous films, this new version consists of made from at least 30 per cent recycled material from collected agricultural films<\/strong>. The PCR content of the film saves 20 litres of mineral oil per roll produced. At the Coveris site in Kufstein (Austria), the new film is produced exclusively using green energy, as the plant runs entirely on renewable resources.<\/p>

Farmers can thus reduce their ecological footprint by 23 per cent and make a greater contribution to the environment by switching to Unterland R. Contribution to environmental protection<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In addition Coveris<\/a> has increased the sustainability of its film without compromising on consistently high quality. The multi-layer stretch film guarantees protection with perfectly wrapped bales. Long-standing Coveris partners have tested the new film worldwide under a wide range of climatic conditions and with various conventional bale wrapping machines. In the process the ambient conditions had no influence on the constant quality of the film<\/strong>.<\/p>
