A trend <\/b>can be observed in the market: many chocolate brands are increasingly positioning themselves as ecologically responsible and communicating that cocoa beans and ingredients are selected carefully and with respect for people and the environment in mind.<\/p>

The packaging design is also finely tuned to this brand promise. If it weren't for the inner wrap. Not only is it often impractical, usually made from non-recyclable materials, but it is also simply not sustainable.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>

Packaging follows the chocolate's brand promise<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

With PurePac Van Genechten Packaging<\/a> make the inner wrap superfluous. Optimised with a functional coating on the inside, the resource-saving folding carton, which can be recycled to 100%, makes it possible to dispense with an entire packaging component - namely the inner wrap made of aluminium foil\/aluminium-paper composite\/plastic film.<\/p>

The functionality of the wrapping film was transferred to the folding carton, which takes over its technical functions.\u00a0<\/p>

Without major additional costs PurePac<\/a> printing on the inside of the packaging opens up new branding options, according to the company.<\/p>

The new folding carton concept does not compromise the efficiency of the production line or the wide range of finishing options while maintaining the same level of food safety as conventional packaging. Van Genechten Packaging calculates that several euros per 1,000 packs could be saved on the bottom line.\u00a0<\/p><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Certified for recycling<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

PurePac is certified for return to the recycling loop. As a particularly resource-saving solution, the new packaging should score points with significant material savings, as the conventional second component is no longer required, e.g. aluminium foil, which has recently become enormously more expensive and energy-intensive to produce.<\/p>

Certified recyclable cardboard made from renewable materials is used. The usual packaging output of up to 200 cycles\/minute can be achieved in production, meaning that the new packaging machine is quickly amortised.<\/p><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
