Both adhesives have received a certificate from the Paper Technology Foundation (PTS) for this property.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section data-exad-particle-enable=\"false\" class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-ae21769 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default exad-parallax-effect-no exad-background-color-change-no exad-glass-effect-no exad-sticky-section-no\" data-id=\"ae21769\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-bd25877 exad-glass-effect-no exad-sticky-section-no\" data-id=\"bd25877\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9b42aee exad-sticky-section-no exad-glass-effect-no elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9b42aee\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Cardboard boxes with paper labels labelled with <strong>Acronal RCF 3705 or Acronal RCF 3706<\/strong> coated can be recycled without any problems. Both adhesives have now been certified by the Papiertechnische Stiftung (PTS). The PTS is a German research and service institute that supports companies from all industries in the development and application of modern fibre-based solutions and offers a wide range of services. <strong>Material testing for paper, cardboard or paperboard<\/strong> is carried out.<\/p><blockquote><p>\u201eMore circularity and better recycling is a must on our way to a climate-neutral world. With the recycling-friendly adhesives Acronal RCF 3705 and Acronal RCF 3706, BASF is now making a decisive contribution to more sustainable labelling, e.g. in logistics.\u201c<\/p><p><strong>Uwe D\u00fcsterwald<\/strong>, Project Manager Sustainability in Adhesives at BASF<\/p><\/blockquote><p>In addition to the automotive and food industries, the logistics sector in particular has a high demand for pressure-sensitive labels. <strong>The market share of transport labels has recorded the highest growth for several years.<\/strong> This is confirmed by Alexander Watson Associates (AWA) market studies such as \u201eEuropean Labelling and Product Decoration 2017\u201c and the \u201eGlobal Annual Review Labelling and Product Decoration 2020\u201c. This trend was further reinforced in the pandemic years of 2020 and 2021 by strong growth in e-commerce and mail order. While most adhesives for paper labels disrupt the paper recycling process, <strong>the newly developed pressure-sensitive adhesives can be removed earlier and more easily in the recycling process<\/strong>. The recycled paper or cardboard packaging can be easily reused and printed.<\/p><p>Underpinned by the solution <a href=\"http:\/\/www.basf.com\/adhesives\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">BASF<\/a> its commitment to a sustainable circular economy in line with the European Union's Green Deal. With the Green Deal, the EU has set itself the goal of achieving a climate-neutral industry and society by 2050. To this end<strong> BASF has been a founding member of the cross-industry association CELAB since 2020<\/strong> (Toward a Circular Economy for Labels).
